It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

http://gizmodo.com/5838922/the-steve-jobs-think-different-tribute-video

Steve Jobs died today in his seven year battle with pancreatic cancer. I was actually listening to the iPad 2 announcement video on my iPad, when I opened up CNN on my PC to read the headline. It was shocking and creepy as Jobs' voice emanated out of his own creation, ringing in my ears as I read of his death. It was really, really weird for me.

That video is quite sad.

I thought this was a joke when I first read this. It truly is sad to lose one of America's brightest minds. His whole life he was such a creative man. It sucks to see him go.

I'm sort of glad we talked about Apple in the podcast today. My thoughts go out to his family/friends and entire apple nation.

This is pretty sad. I saw it on Yahoo news a few minutes ago. I wonder if he passed on some secrets to the new CEO.

Better than Red.

Giant giant giant shame. True visionary, very unfortunate that he has passed.
Is it too late to tell you that I don't mind.

It's weird because just a while ago on IMDb, there was an article dismissing the rumor that he died, and now...he actually is dead. It's sad.

I'd also like to point out a statement released by Bill Gates which really emphasizes the charisma and inspirational aptitude of this man: http://www.thegatesnotes.com/Personal/Steve-Jobs

This is something which to me is a big deal and i'm honestly upset by.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

As I type this he holds 6 of the top 7 trends on Google: http://i56.tinypic.com/2ypkt8p.png

I'd also suggest watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF8uR6Z6KLc&feature=player_embedded

This speech is something which has motivated and inspired me for many things in my life and i highly recommend everyone watch it.

I guess I can't really sum up my feelings about this is text. All I can say is:

Steve Jobs. 1955 - 2011. RIP. He changed the world, and all of us with it.

I saw this on the news this morning and I was just in shock really. It's such a cliche to just say that his death was out of the blue and that I didn't expect it, but then that's just how death works. It strikes even the youngest and most healthy of us and even when somebody with a long term illness finally dies its still a huge surprise to know they're now gone.

Until today, I had no idea who he was. I had never really heard of him. Plus, i've never owned an "i" anything. And I generally judge people by whether they were a good person or not, and not so much on if they invented something or created anything. But I share Teen's thoughts. Always sad to see someone die.

One thing is for sure, he was a strong man. Coming back from a horrible disease and still managing to play a key role in Apple for such a long time. He waited 'til the last punch to throw in the towel, that's for sure.

The Ascended one

I found out over the radio this mourning on the way to school. And it said that Steve's most famous quote was "Every mourning i look in the mirror and say to myself 'if today was the last day of my life, would i be happy with what i'm doing? If not, it's time to make a change'"

My thoughts are with Steve's family.
Okay, since I changed my name avatar and entire DBZF image, a lot of you don't know who i am. Well use your noggin. Who Loves Vegeta? Who thinks Cell and James Bond are hot but Vegeta is her main man? Who has a life sized cardboard cutout of Vegeta? Still don't know?
